These designs have been inspired by walks in the local woods. I am fascinated by the Oak tree's many facets, from the acorn to the gall wasp (discovered when a gall I had for observation actually gave birth to a wasp in a drawer I kept it in!) and I just love the symbolism associated with this wonderful native tree. For centuries the oak has been a symbol of strength, spiritual growth, survival and good luck.
